Our Story
Ernest and Henry Parro first opened Parro's Gun Shop in 1983 with an inventory of 6 firearms on a card table. Ernest ran the shop during the early days while Henry pursued his law enforcement career. Parro's incorporated as Parro's Gun Shop & Police Supplies Inc. in 1988.
Since opening their doors, Parro's has expanded many times. In 2006, Parro's opened their current 4,000 square foot handicap accessible show room at the same location. In 2021, Parro's expanded yet again, moving into a new 10,800 square foot retail location. The new facility has an attached ten lane, 25-yard indoor shooting range - the first such facility in Vermont to be open to the general public.
