Topics available for learning are: Fundamental safety & handling — safe practices, awareness, and risk reduction. Equipment parts & terminology — identification and common vocabulary for components. Grip, control of the firing mechanism, and trigger discipline — how to hold and manipulate equipment for consistent, safe operation. Sight alignment & sight picture — aiming fundamentals and visual techniques. Stance, follow-through & recovery — body position, movement, and corrective steps after an action. Choosing the right equipment for intended use & fit — sizing, ergonomics, and purpose-matching. Everyday carry (EDC) & personal-safety planning — practical considerations for carrying and preparedness. Optics & sighting systems — red-dot and other sight options, selection and use. Mounted illumination & aiming attachments — selection and effective use of lights and aiming aids. Holsters & retention systems — types, fit, and safe wear practices. Drawing & presentation from OWB and IWB holsters — efficient, safe presentation techniques for both outside-waistband and inside-waistband carry. Home-defense planning & risk mitigation — strategies for household safety, safe storage, and emergency planning. Modern sporting platforms & operating basics — overview of commonly used sport/utility platforms and how they operate. Shotgun-style platforms for sport & close-range use — fundamentals of handling and optics/stock selection (sporting/defensive contexts). Optics: selection, mounting & zeroing — how to choose, mount, and align scopes and sights. Noise management & hearing protection — reducing sound exposure and choosing protection solutions. Cleaning, maintenance & care — routine upkeep to ensure reliable, safe operation. Storage & transport best practices — secure storage methods and safe, legal transport considerations.

To cancel or reschedule please contact us 24 hours in advance. Please allow 15-20 minutes for safety brief, video and waiver if you are a new shooter to our facility. Eye and ear protection are included for your lesson. Ammo and targets sold separately.
